Babysitting
You are an avid skier with small children, who are either too young for ski school or prefer more personal attention than daycare. Camp Sites
Summit County is located largely in a National Forest with quite a number of camp sites around Dillon Lake and also at nearby Green Mountain Reservoir. If you have a tent or a camper, there is a site that will suit you with incredible views and many outdoor activities close by. High Country Activities will point you to the ideal location and assist you with booking your spot, and then help you experience the variety of adventures in the area.

Children’s Camp
If you are visiting the county and are busy with a conference or just want to spend each day on the golf course or the ski slopes, and you want your children to experience the outdoors together with other kids their own age, why not try a local science camp? Programs are offered year round, either a day camp or an overnight residential camp and are for youth ages 6-17. All camps are located in a historic campus at Keystone.

Dog Care
So you brought “man’s best friend” with you, but the place you have rented does not allow pets. You are going to be skiing or hiking all day and would rather not leave your dog alone all day. A local kennel, doggie daycare, or dog minder / walker will be able to help you out. High Country Activities is able to refer you to a photographer who will meet you anywhere in the county to record that special moment of your vacation. RV Resort
Whether you are in the county for the night, for a few days, a week or the whole season, and it is summer or winter, the local RV Resort is able to accommodate your needs. There are chalets should you wish to park and take a break from sleeping in your traveling home. The Clubhouse is centrally located in the Resort complex and contains an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, game room, TV lounge, laundry facility, bathrooms with showers and dressing area. Outside there is a volleyball court, basketball court, two tennis courts, and children’s playground. In addition the pavilion with its large rock fireplace serves as a great meeting place for summer entertainment and activities. For the fishing enthusiast, the Blue River borders the Resort on the west boundary, and the Swan River runs through the Resort.
