Tour Option 1 | Frisco Scenic Sleigh Rides
Step back in time and experience a turn of the century sleigh pulled by a team of mules. After a ride through the Peninsula Recreation area with its stunning mountain views, enjoy hot chocolate as you listen to live cowboy music at the camp in the woods. Board your sleighs and return to the Nordic Center, listening to the history and stories told to you by your wranglers.

Tour Option 2 | Frisco Dinner Sleigh Rides
This dinner sleigh ride is a mountain experience you will never forget. First, climb aboard an oak sleigh handcrafted after styles found in the 1850s, then nestle yourself under a nice warm blanket. A handsome team of mules will take you down a secluded, picturesque trail through the Peninsula Recreation Area. At the end of the sleigh ride is a warm and cozy camp tucked deep in the forest where you will be served a three course dinner, including chicken enchilada cheese soup & rolls, chicken and steak with a baked potato and vegetables, apple pie with whipped cream, coffee, hot choccolate and Peppermint Schnapps. Tour Option 1 | Keystone Scenic Sleigh Rides
This is the perfect way to explore the rustic side of Keystone. Sleighs pulled by teams of two Belgian draft horses will whisk you through the Soda Creek Valley on an enchanting one-hour tour. Prepare to relax as you glide over the snow and arrive at a historic homestead, where you will be served a hot drink before you return to the bus that brought you to this remote location in the National Forest.

Tour Option 2 | Keystone Dinner Sleigh Rides
Bundled up in a sleigh, being pulled by Belgian draft horses through the crisp, winter evening is just the beginning of what will surely be a memorable experience. This one of a kind dining excursion takes you to a historic homestead in the Soda Creek Valley. Here you will have an evening full of music together with an amazing three course dinner, including hot chocolate and soft drinks in a rustic cabin with gas lanterns and wood burning stove. To warm you up after the ride and before dinner is served, you will be treated to a shot of Peppermint Schnapps which you can drink straight or mix with the hot chocolate waiting for you on the table. You will start your meal with beef barley stew and biscuits. Your entrée is a choice of steak, chicken or salmon, served with garlic whipped mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. For children there is also a hot dog entrée option. Dessert is apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Domestic and Microbrew beer and choices from a good inexpensive wine list including champagne, as well as cocktails are available for purchase with your meal. If you would like to have a genuine Stagecoach take you to and from your wedding or any other special occasion, you are able to rent a Stagecoach from the Keystone Stables, either for an event on the property at Keystone Resort or offsite.

Tour Option 1 | Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center Scenic Sleigh Rides
Check in for your ride at the beautiful Breckenridge golf course clubhouse. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate before or after your 45 minute ride with stunning views of the Ten Mile Range (ten peaks in ten miles above the Blue River valley) and the Continental Divide. Sleighs are able to accommodate either 28 or 14 people per sled, or enjoy a more private and intimate Vis-A-Vis ride for up to four people for an additional cost. Sleighs are pulled by either Belgian or Percheron Draft horses.

Enjoy a 45 minute sleigh ride followed by an extensive buffet dinner in the 5-star clubhouse of the Breckenridge golf course, with a massive fireplace, and great views through the big spacious windows. Music will be provided during your meal by a local guitarist. Dinner includes slow roasted beef brisket and Caribbean spiced chicken, with cornbread, baby carrots, baked potato bar, and salad, with assorted desserts, lemonade, hot chocolate and water. Children have the option of chicken fingers or a hot dog and fries, or linguine with marinara sauce or butter available on request, vegetarian options are also available on request. Tour Option 3 | Breckenridge Peak 9 Scenic Sleigh Rides
Peak 9 offers the only on-mountain sleigh rides, located on Peak 9 of the Breckenridge Ski Area. This a scenic ride under the stars for most of the season, although in the Spring earlier rides will experience daylight, sunset or twilight, with the later times being in the dark. The stables uses two types of draft horses to pull the three ten person sleighs at this location. Pictured are the Belgians, one of the strongest of the heavy breeds. These horses are sorrel in color with a flaxen mane and tail. On average, Belgians weighs over 2,000 pounds and are regularly used as working horses today. Come and get to know these delightful horses on your ride, introduced to you by your very own Breckenridge wrangler, while you enjoy a sleigh ride above the historic mining town of Breckenridge. Hot chocolate and warm blankets will be provided for the ride. Enjoy a scenic sleigh ride above the charming town of Breckenridge on Peak 9 of the ski area, followed by a gourmet dinner at Spencer’s in the Beaver Run Resort. Dinner includes a trip through the soup and salad bar, a choice of 10 oz Queen Cut Prime Rib, 8 oz Top Sirloin, Marinated Sockeye Salmon, each comes with vegetable of the day and choice of potato, Spencer’s Pasta or Chef’s Vegetarian Ravioli, with either Pumpkin Cheese Cake or Chocolate Lava cake for dessert. There are also children’s options available. Your ten person sleigh will be pulled by draft horses. Pictured here are the Percherons, standing between 16 and 18 hand high and weighing 1900 pounds. They are usually grey or black in color, are well muscled and are known for their intelligence and willingness to work. Tour Option 1 | Breckenridge Carriage Rides Closed for Winter 2020 – 2021
A carriage ride through the National Historic District of Breckenridge is a great option for a proposal or anniversary, or for history buffs who would like to see all of the historical sites of this old hunting and mining town, turned ski town. Reservations are required for the half hour option and rides are for a maximum of nine people For a 15 minute ride, tickets may be purchased from the Welcome Center, located on the southwest corner of Main Street and Washington Avenue, and are on a first come first served basis and subject to availability. Rides are available from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm daily with the exception of Mondays. You are also able to rent the carriage after hours for your special event: a ride to your anniversary dinner; a unique proposal option; a wedding ride that you will cap off your perfect day; an unusual way to celebrate your birthday; your Bachelor or Bachelorette party.
