Would you like to try something new on the slopes? Snow biking near Frisco Colorado is a great way to get an introduction to a new and exciting sport. Great for those who just want to experience something different, and also for those with hip and knee problems who find the slopes too punishing on their joints. Riders sit on a bike that has two skis rather than wheels. Snow bikes use mini foot skis for balance that have bindings either for ski or snowboard boots. Snow biking is suitable for beginners, even without any prior skiing, and all levels of skiers or snowboarders. These bikes are not to be confused with Fat Bikes that are for trail riding on the snow. These bikes are just for use on the ski slopes.

Tour Option 1 | Breckenridge Snow bike Rentals
You are able to rent a snow bike for pick-up in Breckenridge for use at the Breckenridge Ski Resort or Copper Mountain. You will need to have a lift ticket reservation and own or rent ski or snowboard boots, and a vehicle to transport the bikes. Beginners will need to watch a video online about operation of the snow bike and loading onto the lift. The person renting you the bike will clarify the information on the video and give you a short lesson on riding the bike and loading the lift. You are able to choose from a Beginner, Standard / Intermediate, or a Monster / Advanced High Performance bike. Bikes are for rent on a space available basis, so it is best to book well in advance.

Cost Beginner & Standard Bike: $55 for one day rental, $45 per day for two day rental, $127.50 for three day rental, $170 for four day rentals, $200 for five day rental, $240 per six day rental, $280 per seven day rental
Cost Monster Bike: $75 for one day rental, $140 per day for two day rental, $205 for three day rental, $250 for four day rentals, $330 for five day rental, $400 per six day rental, $450 per seven day rental

Tour Option 1 | Frisco Snow bike Rentals Currently not available
You are able to rent a snow bike in Frisco with foot skis with various bindings that may be used with ski or snowboard boots, if you have prior experience with snow biking. You must be able to load the bike into your car to transport it to your favorite local ski area. A meeting place and time for delivery will be arranged. Bikes are for rent on a space available basis.

Tour Option 1 | Keystone Snow bike Lessons Not available 2020 – 2021
Keystone offers lessons for first timers which leads to a certification. After completing a lesson, that includes instruction on how to ride and also how to load on a lift, the certification allows the participant to rent a snow bike. The lift ticket offered with the lesson is only for the duration of the lesson. If you would like to rent a snow bike after the lesson, you must have a lift ticket valid for the entire day. You must also have ski boots to use with foot skis provided.

Times: 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm ( 3:00pm only on days with night skiing)

Important Notes: Check in 15 minutes prior to lesson at Adventure Point on Dercum Mountain, accessible from the River Run gondola in Keystone. Must have lift ticket to access Dercum Mountain. Participants must provide their own ski boots for snowbike lessons. Lessons are scheduled snow or shine, but may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Tour Option 2 | Keystone Snowbike Rentals Not available 2020 – 2021
Once you are certified by taking a Keystone snowbike lesson, or if you have proof of prior experience from another ski mountain, you may rent snowbikes from Keystone’s Adventure Point.
